Do you struggle to manage your thoughts, stress, or panic attacks? Do you have difficulty remembering what it feels like to be calm, relaxed, or focused?
Dr. Bieberich utilizes evidence-based techniques to equip her clients with a comprehensive set of stress management tools. Whether the pathway to your mental health issues is physiologically or cognitively mediated, Dr. Bieberich has expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy and biofeedback to address both pathways.
- Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on the identification and exploration of how thoughts impact mood and behavior. As unhelpful thought patterns are challenged, emotional regulation improves.
- Biofeedback is defined as the act of observing physiological responses with the use of assistive technology in order to learn how to self-regulate one’s physiology to achieve health and performance goals – mind/body self-regulation. The idea behind biofeedback is that, by harnessing the power of your mind and becoming aware of what is going on inside your body, you can gain more control over your health.
*Dr. Bieberich is board certified in biofeedback (license number B6260).
