Do you have a child who reacts in an explosive manner when things do not go as expected? Do you have a child who does not respond to typical parenting strategies? Do you ever find yourself yelling at your child?

Dr. Bieberich will work with you to identify behavioral goals and problem solve with you to identify effective solutions. Her years of experience with children on the autism spectrum have provided her with much insight into strategies to reduce reactive, explosive behavior. She often utilizes elements of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach, developed by Dr. Ross Greene.

The goal of treatment is to teach the skills that are lacking, along with a proactive focus on solving and preventing problems before they occur. This approach allows adults to pursue expectations, while teaching children the skills they lack and reducing meltdowns.
